All Kinds of Busy
It's been a little while since I've taken a moment to sit down and craft a blog post. I thought that I would do just that while the weather is awful outside, and I have a fresh pot of tea within in reaching distance.
A lot has happened since July's post, I got myself a new job, went on holiday and have been making bits and pieces ever since. I'm still figuring out my routine as the weeks pass since my holiday in late August, especially now that I am back to work. Still, it's a nice problem to have!
So what have I been making?
Oh, I've made a couple more dice bags...
And ventured into the world of making adorable one-off pieces of jewellery. Stitching in brightly coloured silks, and tiny painted frames. They've been a joy to make and even now I have three more designs ready to be stitched/made up.
I've been playing with watercolours and hand lettering, did quite a bit of it while I was away in the States (was a tad fidgety) - creating some daring little designs, influenced by an amazing lady I found on Instagram who just made me want to bust out my pens and ink, and even played with a bit of gilding.
