One of a kind stumpwork (Raised) embroidered artwork inspired by a rather delightful character from Critical Role called Caduceus Clay.
This piece was stitched over the course of six weeks, and numerous stitches, thread types and colours, beads and adornments were used to build this piece up. Caduceus' Staff is made up of thread wrapped florists wire, with additional beads and Swarovski Crystals added to give it even more depth. It's an entirely tactile piece, and every time you look at it you will spot something new. From tiny teacups, beetles to a teeny tiny spider on a silvery web.
